Lower Tokenbury Equestrian Centre is an approved ABRS establishment, also a selected and approved Pony Club Centre.We welcome anyone who rides or wishes to learn from our customer friendly approach.We enjoy unrivalled facilities in an area of outstanding natural beauty, a very varied and versatile yard.
Our
teaching philosophy is to give confidence and pleasure, this applies to
young and old, beginners or experienced riders.

Run by an ex international event rider who in turn has trained international riders. We strongly recognise that everyone has their own reasons for riding and we respect that. We get as much pleasure seeing someone enjoy their first ride, or quiet hack out, as a faster gallop on the moor or training them for dressage, cross country or showjumping, competing locally or nationally.
We help people with their own horse or pony get the best out of them, so they can enjoy whatever their chosen goal.
Trained at Lower Tokenbury
Our facilities include riding over our own 200 acres of farmland and woodland, sand school, 2 show jump arenas (grass), dressage arenas (grass), extensive cross country course highly suitable to build both horse and rider confidence. This course is available for Hunter Trials. The facilities are also very suitable for One Day Events. Superb riding over Bodmin Moor with it's scenery and history or miles of quiet country lanes in this beautiful part of Cornwall.
Holiday visitors are most welcome to enjoy our facilities. We keep our groups small, many of our regular customers come several times a year from throughout the UK and Europe. Especially to enjoy the cross country instruction and moorland riding.
We provide Internationally approved riding hats, and body protectors are available for loan free of charge, so no excuses if you don't own any or have left them at home! Wellington boots or a good shoe with heel are acceptable but we also have riding boots for hire.
